The latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system, iOS 6, has a slew of new features ranging from better Siri integration to a new maps service. There are also some additions Apple hasn’t uncovered. It appears that a few new icons representing Gay, Lesbian and a Family, have been added to the Emoji keyboard.
As you can see in the screenshot above, there’s a family icon which shows a father, mother and their child. There are two more bold additions – gay and lesbian icons. The gay and lesbian icons show the couples holding hands. iOS 6 is currently in beta and is expected to release in October.
