It’s not been long since Sony released the slim PlayStation 3, a redesign to the original PS3. Now reports are pouring in that Sony has another redesigned version in the pipeline. A few days back, a redesigned version of the PS3 hit the FCC. Though the listing didn’t have any photos, a recent listing on Anatel has revealed some photos of the purported redesigned PS3.
The new PS3 variant has reportedly hit Anatel (Brazil’s own FCC) and as it turns out, there are 3 models – CECH-4011A, CECH-4011B and CECH-4011C. According to Tecnoblog, these three models point to a minute 16GB version, along with 250GB and 500GB versions. From the looks of it, the redesigned PS3 appears to be slimmer and seems to be having a top loading disc drive. Now this is new. If true, it’ll be the first PS3 to have a top loading disc drive, just like the PS2. Sony hasn’t reacted to these leaked photos yet. Who knows we might be getting a new PS3 version soon.
