It seems like Apple wants things to be leaner and leaner and maybe that’s why it has axed the numeric keypad on iMac’s standard wired keyboard. The new keyboard lacks the numeric keypad but retains the two USB ports on it’s sides. The good news is that the regular keyboard has not been replaced and the newer one is available as an alternative without any additional cost. It’s totally upto you as to which keyboard you want and you can select one of them at the time of purchase.
